Enjoy the rest day :-) Thanks for the speedwork information as well. Haven't been to the local track at all, but think I might give it a go this weekend or sometime next week. Either that, or try to measure out a good 800m/1200m spot for this. Looking to slowly integrate these into my workouts.
When first got serious about speedwork, I knocked 3 minutes off my 10k time in the span of about 6 months.
