First long run since June
Met the We Run Huntsville group led by Marc Crooks up on Monte Sano on Saturday. Have been nursing a sore achilles since June. Was just hoping to survive what turned out to be a ten mile trail run. Calves were a little sore, but wind seemed OK. Very encouraged by just being able to get out and do it again!

Ahh, nice to hear from you. Glad to see you moving. E have to deal with the same thing and it has kept him grounded.
Rae, I did a lot of stretching and icing and eventually the pain went away.
Not long until you're joining us in Athens for 10 miles again, right? :) Glad you're on the come back!
