Liz Hurley Breast Cancer 5K day
Well, not quite as fast as I would have liked - 19:07 (6:10 per mile pace). Started out a little too fast even though it didn't feel bad at the time. I paid for it on the last two miles which had more hills. First mile was 5:51.
Overall I finished 3rd in my age group (out of 41) and overall 19th out of 297 men and 19th out of 1025 total (i.e., I beat all of the women :) ).
After I finished I went back to run with my wife's friend, Margarita, and pushed her to a new PR of 24:59 and third in her age goup.
