Wednesday - Thursday - Hotter still...

Exercise: (Wed) - ran 3.1 miles at Lockheed field in 23:15 (7:30 pace).

(Thur) - 70 pushups. Ran 3 miles at Lockheed with Carl S. in 21:00 (7:00 pace).


Total mileage for the week: 24.7

Total mileage for the month : 19.1

Mr. Greene - So you seem like a run-lifer...what's your take on a program for pre-half marathon training? I've just been following a 4-5 day run schedule, mid mileage for the 3-4 days and a long run at the end of the week. Is that good for now till we get 16 weeks out from the half marathon?

Figured you'd have tried a bunch of different methods and would save me the time/pain of choosing the wrong one! :-) Thanks!

I would add a tempo run and some interval/hill training. These make you stronger at race speed and makes your body adjust to running while tired. 5 days should be good.
