Jammin' 15k! :-)
Question...With the 2-4 runs I can get time for a week, what the best way to build that end of race stamina? Longer runs? More hills/speed work? I'm thinking that I'll try to do 5-8 mile runs for my normal workout runs and 10miles on the long weekend run. Just feeling like the last 5k of the half killed me over the weekend and don't want that to happen in January. :-)
Thanks Coach!
I think the long runs and hillwork will help as both build strength. I'd actually suggest you build up your long run to 12-13 miles so you'll know exactly how that last 5K will feel. I'd add 1/2 mile per week to your long runs - should get you there before the WDW half.
